BOMBER JACKET

Good Morning lovelies - we both hope you all enjoyed the holidays, spending time with your families and friends.  Gabrielle and I both did, and were now  spending our Christmas money wisely shopping the days away and getting ready for our photo shoot together tomorrow. We can't wait to share all the amazing items we've purchased over the past few days.  We have some great posts coming your way in the next few weeks so be sure to stay tuned each week.  This bomber jacket is from jollychic.com and its unbelievably cozy and chic. Jollychic.com is a website we came across several months ago - it's a fast fashion website filled with great quality pieces at very affordable prices. Every time I throw a bomber jacket on it never fails to add an emphasis of cool to my outfits immediately. By pairing the look with black booties and a black bodysuit I toughened up the vibe even more, plus distressed denim is the perfect finishing touch for this outfit.  A bomber jacket is a great piece to invest in this winter season because I don't see any signs of this trend slowing down. Whether its an olive hue, black or grey - a neutral shade is the way to go when choosing an investment piece. Again Jollychic.com has some great options if you are not wanting to spend a whole lot on the trend, just to try it out. Hope you all enjoyed this post and we cant wait to share our new years eve's outfit ideas with you soon!

HOW-TO STYLE A WRAP DRESS

 Photograph's By Tiffany Co. Photography

This week has been crazy,  I am honestly relieved to say its over. I am trying to think positive and look beyond the stress of everyday life and focus on my goals and hard work ahead. Life can be very overwhelming at times its always nice to reflect on ways to put your mind at peace. I love my alone time, which I don't get much of lol. It allows me to remain focused and driven. This is why the blog is so important to me, its a place to reflect and inspire, where all of our passion is placed into words and photographs. A way to connect with other women whom are like minded. There is comfort in knowing that the blogging world is so supportive, uplifting and encouraging. The ladies who participate in blogging are always strong and motivated, two traits I gravitate towards. I hope you all are inspired by what we do and always continue to grow and learn with us!

PARISIAN CHIC

Photograph's By Tiffany Co. Photography

I'm happy to introduce my friendly, fluffy and famously silly puppy named Porter. He is a golden-doodle and German Shepherd mix that my boyfriend and I purchased six months ago and we have continually fallen in love with him every day since. We have partnered with Rowme.com to bring you this simple and chic Parisian inspired look. A black and white striped shirt is an essential for your spring wardrobe and it's perfect for those cool breezy nights. Also this shirt is under $15 and feels like I paid $45 due to the amazing quality. I believe that a striped shirt brings a cool essence and Parisian flair to any outfit, containing the effortless ability to transform your casual outfit into a classic look.  By adding the leather jacket it changes the look and adds a hint of edge.  Bell bottom jeans create a beautiful hourglass figure and  elongates giving me stands for days. The Runway Flare by True Religion is a must-have of mine and Gabrielle's, from the supple soft fabric to crazy good fit I recommend these jeans to denim lovers everywhere!

MOMENTS OF CHIC

Photos By Julie Raper

We are very excited about today's post featuring some amazing items from one of our favorite brands Piperlime. We were asked to style two pieces using our own flair and aesthetic. The two items that were chosen for us were this stunning faux fur collared coat and these black skinnies by DL1961. You can shop the coat here but be sure to do so soon because its going fast. The color of the coat is a beautiful rich caramel so I decided to complement it with a forest green beanie and denim shirt. These colors create a bold fall look without even trying. The fur combined with these rich hues ad a hint of luxury even when wearing such casual pieces as denim and a beanie. Also I'd like to talk about these heavenly jeans for a minute. They are the most comfortable and flattering jeans I have ever owned, DL1961 knows how to create the perfect pair, really. These jeans are made to sculpt your legs and hug you in the right spots, they are great for a daytime stroll or dressed up for a intimate date night. Either way you need to own a pair of these. We hope you enjoy today's post and be sure to stop by Wednesday and Friday for more style inspiration!

WITH STYLE & LACE

On Amber: Romper: Vestique; Booties: Dolce Vita; Watch: Skagen; Necklaces: Borrowed via mom
Sometimes the most simplest outfit's have the biggest impact. The key to creating a high impact outfit with little pieces is to use a statement piece such as a bold printed dress, an intricate romper or a silky jumper. The idea is to wow with one piece and then add accessories to compliment it and create interest. This romper from Vestique Boutique in Charlotte, N.C is the perfect example of a wow piece. The white color of the romper is clean and elongating and the ruffled top and lace details create an added playful element to the one-sie. It's the perfect piece to wear on a casual lunch date, or a Saturday spent with friends. You can dress this romper up or down depending on the accessories you choose to incorporate. For this look I wanted to layer dainty gold necklaces to complement but not overpower the garment. You can choose to go bold with a statement piece or minimal with layered jewelery. Either way you are sure to make an impact on whoever you walk by!

If you love this amazing romper as much as I do then you can purchase it online. Click the Vestique links in the paragraph above to check it out! Thank you!

ARTFULLY DRESSED

On Amber: Dress: Joe Fresh via JCPenney; Stockings: Kohl's; Booties: Old Navy; Bracelet's: Alex & Ani
Sometimes you find a piece that is versatile, beautiful and at an amazing price point, this dress is that piece. While the print is very bold the color palette is neutral and allows you to use the piece in so many different ways. Plus the dress was on sale for $7.99 which is such a bargain. I love Joe Fresh and their collection at JCPenney's is nothing less than amazing, it's made up of classic quality apparel at affordable price's. This look is perfect for a date night outfit{Valentine's Day is right around the corner}. Like Gabrielle said in Monday's post you don't have to wear a red dress to stand out, a great patterned dress is a diverse way to look feminine and flirty. Gabrielle and I always get excited about Valentine's Day, because it's a great excuse to dress up and go all out. We hope you like our date night outfit inspiration and please let us know what your plan's are for this day of love!

BETWEEN THE LINES

On Amber: Coat: Banana Republic; Turtleneck: Eileen Fisher; Skirt: Gap; Booties: Eileen Fisher

We are obsessed with this coat (how beautiful is it?). The metallic detail really gets your attention! The color block design gives the coat structure and really makes it pop. Did I mention the brilliant gold detailing it gives the coat a luxurious feel. Underneath we wanted to do simple chic. We paired a black silk turtleneck with a striped full mini skirt; and an amazing price point (available at www.gap.com). We loved the way the skirt gave the outfit volume. A great detail was this black leather wrap belt, it really brought the two pieces together. After we took time to look back at the photos, we both said this would be perfect for an interview! So keep that in mind, and be sure to comment and let us know what you think!
