FARMER'S MARKET

Photographed By: Debra Robusto

On Gabrielle:

When the Summer season shines upon The Hampton's, fresh, irresistible produce arrives and all the fruitful Farmer's Market's begin to open up. I thought what a stunning backdrop these bright floral's would make for a post, especially an all white outfit! This week has been a busy one for Amber and I, sometimes we can get a bit overwhelmed in our own worlds (unfortunately organization is not always on our side). This blog is such a passion to us both, we enjoy sharing our individual style with our reader's. I put together this breezy look with this amazing gauzy top from J crew (now on sale)! Sharp white raw edged denim paired perfectly. I payed my DIY intuitions a visit and destructed them myself. Even if your holes aren't perfect throw them in the wash and let it do it's magic! I found these strappy sandals at TJmaxx, and supplied our readers with a similar pair both equally gorg! My panama hat top's off my look (literally). Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and keep following along with us!

ROMPER ETIQUETTE

On Amber: Romper: Vestique; Wedges; Ugg Australia;  Clutch: Vestique; Watch: Skagen

The grass and sun are bright in North Carolina! I have definitely been taking advantage of the warm temperatures here lately. This week I had the opportunity to visit Vestique, the especially chic and trendy boutique in Charlotte. When you walk into the store you are welcomed by the friendly staff and are surrounded by color and beauty. The boutique is extremely organized and the layout of the clothing is practical and easy to maneuver through. The clothing at the boutique exhibits a fresh southern charm. Featuring colorful prints, bold colors and flowing silhouettes. One of the things I absolutely loved about Vestique was the high quality of the garments offered at a affordable price point. I was able to pick up an item that I adored, looked at the tag and didn't jump out of my skin (lol). The romper that is featured in the above photos was one of my favorite items in the store. The flirty back steals the spotlight and the orchid colored embroidery creates an unexpected accent. I was so excited to visit the Charlotte location, meet the amazing women who work there and get to shop around this chic boutique. I know that I will be visiting again very soon.

Here is the link to there beautiful online store, Please be sure to shop local and help spread the word about this amazing boutique! www.vestique.com

TWINNING

Photo's By: Debra Robusto
On Gabrielle: Slip ons: Sam Edelman; Leather Skirt: Thrifted; Sweater: Old Navy; Watch: Larsson & Jennings; Clutch: Marc Jacobs
On Amber: Oxfords: Gap; Skirt: Forever21; Blouse: Aerie; Denim Shirt: Gap; Watch: Skagen

Missing you! (Even though it's been two days). Our time was spent well together between laughter filled dinners and photo shoot's. The shoots are so different when were side by side (harder to be serious). We get the job done though! We both loved how these turned out, our readers get to experience our different styles. We like a lot of the same things, but you can always tell who's who by the way we dress. Amber's very girly, with a little bit of prep mixed in. I'd say my style is very laid back and simple; I always find my self drawn to a minimalistic look. In today's post we wanted to show how we would each style a casual look with a mini, be sure to comment and let us know what you think!

FOREST & CAMEL

On Amber: Jacket: J Crew; Sweater: Gifted; Pants; Gap: Sneakers: Sam Edelman; Clutch Gap

The one thing Gabrielle and I really pride ourselves on is how we can always score a great deal. Since we are both in college and beginning our careers we can't really afford the clothes we wish we could. So were always on the hunt for a great steal. These coated skinny's are a perfect example of just that, while other companies charge $150-$300 for a similar version Gabrielle scored these for just $7.00! I know we couldn't believe it either. But some of the best times to shop is at the end of the season because everything is marked down to make room for the most recent apparel. This outfit was also a mix between high and low. The jacket is from J Crew and is a little pricier but unlike the skinny's this coat is going to last season after season it contains a timeless silhouette in a rich hue. This makes the item worth the splurge in my opinion. What Items in your closet are worth the splurge?

FLORAL JACKET'S

FROM TOP LEFT: 1./2./3./4.

Floral Patterns are that one trend that keeps resurfacing season after season in different ways. This Spring its all about floral prints on lightweight jackets, some use dainty ditsy floral's while others have over sized tropical patterns. Either way this is a fresh take on the ever changing trend. We also are showing you which jackets are our favorites this season. I choose this beautiful floral moto jacket while Gabrielle picked this light floral bomber. As you can see two of the four jackets are from Gap. Gap has really changed there style game with the addition of their new creative director, they are experimenting with prints and patterns that really push the envelope when it comes to their style esthetic. We love every minute of it, not only are they on point this season but the fit and silhouettes are still classic and long lasting. ARTFULLY DRESSED

On Amber: Dress: Joe Fresh via JCPenney; Stockings: Kohl's; Booties: Old Navy; Bracelet's: Alex & Ani
Sometimes you find a piece that is versatile, beautiful and at an amazing price point, this dress is that piece. While the print is very bold the color palette is neutral and allows you to use the piece in so many different ways. Plus the dress was on sale for $7.99 which is such a bargain. I love Joe Fresh and their collection at JCPenney's is nothing less than amazing, it's made up of classic quality apparel at affordable price's. This look is perfect for a date night outfit{Valentine's Day is right around the corner}. Like Gabrielle said in Monday's post you don't have to wear a red dress to stand out, a great patterned dress is a diverse way to look feminine and flirty. Gabrielle and I always get excited about Valentine's Day, because it's a great excuse to dress up and go all out. We hope you like our date night outfit inspiration and please let us know what your plan's are for this day of love!

IN FULL BLOOM

On Amber: Cropped Sweater: American Eagle; Skirt: gifted; Booties: Dolce Vita; Bangles: Alex&Ani; Watch: Skagen; Cross Body: Cynthia Rowley

The great thing about floral patterns is that they take you through all the seasons! As long as the colors are appropriate you can always pull off florals. Cropped sweaters come in very handy when wearing a midi mini, they hit you at the waist where the skirt begins ( it's a match made in heaven). The boldness of the minis pattern is mellowed   out by the neutral shades in the rest of the outfit. Translucent shades are a perfect transition for entering the warmer months (ambers in NC where it's getting warm!). We hope you enjoy the post and be sure to comment letting us know what you think!
