BOYFRIEND OXFORD

Photographed By: Debra Robusto

On Gabrielle:
Anlo Denim (old): Similar Here

I have had such a relaxing week so far, I'm currently in Pensacola, Florida visiting my grandparents, then next week I will be on my way to North Carolina to visit family (I can't wait to see Amber)! It has been such a beautiful vacation so far, even though I'm lucky enough to have the ocean in my backyard in Southampton; the beaches here are picturesque, filled with soft white sand and lucid turquoise water. While preparing for my trip I took this oversized oxford, which I usually wear as a cover-up and threw it over my favorite destructed denim (I just love this look). Paired it with nude sandals and a beachy panama hat and I was ready for vacation! This Kyu Melange clutch adds the perfect amount of tropical detail, with it's vivid hues and a gorgeous nude leather structure.

TWINNING

Photo's By: Debra Robusto
On Gabrielle: Slip ons: Sam Edelman; Leather Skirt: Thrifted; Sweater: Old Navy; Watch: Larsson & Jennings; Clutch: Marc Jacobs
On Amber: Oxfords: Gap; Skirt: Forever21; Blouse: Aerie; Denim Shirt: Gap; Watch: Skagen

Missing you! (Even though it's been two days). Our time was spent well together between laughter filled dinners and photo shoot's. The shoots are so different when were side by side (harder to be serious). We get the job done though! We both loved how these turned out, our readers get to experience our different styles. We like a lot of the same things, but you can always tell who's who by the way we dress. Amber's very girly, with a little bit of prep mixed in. I'd say my style is very laid back and simple; I always find my self drawn to a minimalistic look. In today's post we wanted to show how we would each style a casual look with a mini, be sure to comment and let us know what you think!

FOREST & CAMEL

On Amber: Jacket: J Crew; Sweater: Gifted; Pants; Gap: Sneakers: Sam Edelman; Clutch Gap

The one thing Gabrielle and I really pride ourselves on is how we can always score a great deal. Since we are both in college and beginning our careers we can't really afford the clothes we wish we could. So were always on the hunt for a great steal. These coated skinny's are a perfect example of just that, while other companies charge $150-$300 for a similar version Gabrielle scored these for just $7.00! I know we couldn't believe it either. But some of the best times to shop is at the end of the season because everything is marked down to make room for the most recent apparel. This outfit was also a mix between high and low. The jacket is from J Crew and is a little pricier but unlike the skinny's this coat is going to last season after season it contains a timeless silhouette in a rich hue. This makes the item worth the splurge in my opinion. What Items in your closet are worth the splurge?

FLORAL JACKET'S

FROM TOP LEFT: 1./2./3./4.

Floral Patterns are that one trend that keeps resurfacing season after season in different ways. This Spring its all about floral prints on lightweight jackets, some use dainty ditsy floral's while others have over sized tropical patterns. Either way this is a fresh take on the ever changing trend. We also are showing you which jackets are our favorites this season. I choose this beautiful floral moto jacket while Gabrielle picked this light floral bomber. As you can see two of the four jackets are from Gap. Gap has really changed there style game with the addition of their new creative director, they are experimenting with prints and patterns that really push the envelope when it comes to their style esthetic. We love every minute of it, not only are they on point this season but the fit and silhouettes are still classic and long lasting. BLACK & WHITE

On Amber: Silk Blouse: Gap; Pants: Gap; Bag via TjMaxx; Oxfords; Gap; Jacket: JCP
This is such a perfect example of trendy work wear, you don't need to let the office bring your personal style down. Trying to dress for the workplace can be looked at two different ways, one you can see it as something you have to do, or two you can see it as a challenge. Letting your personality show through different textures, fabrics and colors allows us to let our personal style shine through. Amber is wearing very simple silhouette's that would be a great for an office environment. Instead of just wearing oxfords she decided that a metallic finish would be a cooler touch. Also she layered her trouser's and silk blouse with a color blocked trench which gives the outfit a more relaxed feel and will be a perfect for after hours drinks. Let us know what you think, How do you style your work wear?

OrYANY + THE TWIN CROWD COLLAB

On Gabrielle: Shoes: Converse; Denim: AGJeans; Sweater: Forever21; Coat: Jcrew; Bag: OrYANY; Watch: Larsson & Jennings; Sunnies: Gap

Today we are happy to share our second way to style OrYANY'S spring collection. I chose the Cassie in nude. This style works great because of its neutral color and chic shape. A tote is an easy piece to bring from day to night. OrYANY offers this style in a beautiful arrangement of colors. I love this outfit, it's simple but chic. The neutral palette is always a go to combination for me. These jeans fit amazing and are the perfect wash. Converse are of course another staple in my closet, gives that classic touch. This coat is amazing, you can always count on jcrew for an amazing silhouette and an impeccable fit! Let us know what you think of today's look! Be sure to check out OrYANY'S lovely spring collection!
