I was so happy that I got to style this super chic denim shirt from Loft with one of my favorite spring trends stripes. This is my go-to spring trend because the pattern helps elongate the body and looks great when mix-and-matched with other patterns. It's simple and elegance can instantly create a classic Spring look with ease. Some of my other favorite trends for spring are metallics, florals and don't forget the color of the season cobalt blue.  Florals are great because they can be mixed with other floral patterns to create modern and eclectic looks.  Metallics are perfect because they add a little something special and unexpected to your outfit. I can't wait to try out the metallic trend by mixing my neutral pieces with different metals like silver, gold, copper and gunmetal.

Today's post is all  about effortless fall style, we constantly try an find that one outfit that represents us to a tee, this is mine. I absolutely love to feel comfortable but look chic. I am one to use color but in a muted neutral palette. My fall style is all about plaid, Its such a go to for me because of its perfect pattern and balance of colors. When paired with black skinny's and booties it gives the outfit a much more streamlined silhouette. Sometimes flannels and plaid patterns can create a country vibe so its always best to balance out the look with dark colors and plush fabrics.

Happy Monday, hope all you lovely readers had a wonderful weekend! Here on the blog we've been busy putting together some stylish posts for the week ahead. Today's post is a bit mod and we actually love this look, first off its super easy to put together. Secondly, it contains a  subtle sexiness that we adore. This date night look can be made by three simple pieces, a pair of knee high boots, a black dress {or black top & skirt } and a fitted plaid peacoat {or really any peacoat will do } Plus right now old navy is having a huge 50 % off sale where we found this gem for only $25.00, really you cant beat that deal. The quality of the jacket is amazing and the fit it superb. Defiantly a must have for us college girls. Loving this spring weather, thrilled to be wearing slinky satin shorts! This look is chic with a bit of sporty edge. I fell in love with these bright red Nike's when they came out, they are the perfect combo of sleek and sporty! Perfect fit with a leather mini, distressed denim or these amazing satin jogging shorts. I scooped these up from H&M last week for $9.95, such a great deal!  Love a graphic tee or sweatshirt, the statement adds a sense of style to a laid back look. The spring weather is slowly coming out of hiding, and I'm loving it! Cool sunnies, tees, and shorts are my go too. This tee is amaze, I got it from Gap (on sale of course). I love that it's structured and has a clean shape but still lightweight. These shorts are super comfy and the lace texture works perfectly with this tee, lace can give off a girly vibe, but  then add a pair of mirrored sunnies and you have a whole new vibe! be sure to comment and let us know what you think of today's look!

A leather mini is a closet must for this spring/ summer season! This weather has been driving me crazy! Sometimes I like to go down to this pavilion in Southampton Shores to relax and enjoy the view of the sun shining on the water, just so I am reminded that Summer is on it's way. A good graphic tee/ tank can always add a playful vibe to any outfit whether its a leather mini or boyfriend jeans. I love this one from Victoria's Secret because its a muscle tank, so it works perfectly with any little jacket. These slip-ons are practical and stylish all in one!
