I was so happy that I got to style this super chic denim shirt from Loft with one of my favorite spring trends stripes. This is my go-to spring trend because the pattern helps elongate the body and looks great when mix-and-matched with other patterns. It's simple and elegance can instantly create a classic Spring look with ease. Some of my other favorite trends for spring are metallics, florals and don't forget the color of the season cobalt blue.  Florals are great because they can be mixed with other floral patterns to create modern and eclectic looks.  Metallics are perfect because they add a little something special and unexpected to your outfit. I can't wait to try out the metallic trend by mixing my neutral pieces with different metals like silver, gold, copper and gunmetal.

Today's post is all  about effortless fall style, we constantly try an find that one outfit that represents us to a tee, this is mine. I absolutely love to feel comfortable but look chic. I am one to use color but in a muted neutral palette. My fall style is all about plaid, Its such a go to for me because of its perfect pattern and balance of colors. When paired with black skinny's and booties it gives the outfit a much more streamlined silhouette. Sometimes flannels and plaid patterns can create a country vibe so its always best to balance out the look with dark colors and plush fabrics.

We are always on the look out for a good sale and unique designers, so when we came across the upcoming flash sale site 9th&elm we were totally into there concept. Offering products from handmade and independent designers was an easy way to get our attention! Amber and I searched through the site over a face time call, I knew by Amber's face that she she found something she wanted, it was these bold teardrop earrings from DTLA. They offered them in so many cool color combos. and I knew these were her fav! Love the site so happy we found it, definitely go check it out!

I cant get enough of this gorgeous weather, hopefully it will stick around for the holiday weekend! We are now back to our normal posting schedule and I am in love with this look! A light summer scarf can completely change up a look giving an instant laid back summer vibe. I loved these shorts I scooped up from gap yesterday, (huge sale going on)! Originally  the bottoms of the shorts were rolled up and stitched, which was a bit long on me so I decided to give them a raw edge myself! I'm in love with the look of these block heeled sandals, I picked them up from TJmaxx, I provided an extremely similar pair available at Macy's. Loving this spring weather, thrilled to be wearing slinky satin shorts! This look is chic with a bit of sporty edge. I fell in love with these bright red Nike's when they came out, they are the perfect combo of sleek and sporty! Perfect fit with a leather mini, distressed denim or these amazing satin jogging shorts. I scooped these up from H&M last week for $9.95, such a great deal!  Love a graphic tee or sweatshirt, the statement adds a sense of style to a laid back look. Spring Time calls for pastels! This beautiful shade of periwinkle looks gorgeous on Amber! Amber picked up this simple slip dress when visiting the Vestique boutique in Charlotte. It's the perfect silhouette for a warm spring day. Easy to throw a cute little jacket or sweater over. You can easily dress this look up or down by wearing sandals or a wedge, even a sneaker would look cute! The spring weather is slowly coming out of hiding, and I'm loving it! Cool sunnies, tees, and shorts are my go too. This tee is amaze, I got it from Gap (on sale of course). I love that it's structured and has a clean shape but still lightweight. These shorts are super comfy and the lace texture works perfectly with this tee, lace can give off a girly vibe, but  then add a pair of mirrored sunnies and you have a whole new vibe! be sure to comment and let us know what you think of today's look!
