This week has been moving by quite slow for some reason, hopefully it will start to pick up speed. So in efforts to cheer myself up I've decided to use my time well and put together some posts for you guys. Last time I was visiting in NC Amber and I had such a nice time shooting together, we brought along our little sister and made a day of it! It's so comforting spending time with family, no worries come to mind just time filled with laughter and good food. This denim jumper was a late summer purchase from LF in Southampton, I never go in but I was walking around one morning and saw a huge SALE sign in the window,  gets me every time. Turned out to be a favorite so cute with booties for fall and a long sleeve. You guys know I'm a lover of sneakers their so comfy and go with so many different looks, how cute with overalls? So happy the weekend is near once again, heading to an event tomorrow night for the Montauk Fire Dept, I've borrowed this beautiful dress from a friend! Be sure to sneak a peek. Old Navy's denim is now better than ever,  they have the fit down to an exact science. I usually tend to stray away from white denim because it always shows every little imperfection on my body. But I so badly wanted to rock a pair this summer so I decided to test out Old Navy's version and I can honestly say they're perfect.  I chose the 'Rockstar' distressed mid-rise version and the quality and fit couldn't be better. When I shop for white denim I always look for thick fabric and durability because they can sometimes be see-through and sheer if the quality isn't there. Also if the fit is too slim or tight this can be extremely unflattering.  I purchased one size up so I can have a little bit more room. I usually wear a two, but purchased these in a four and they are perfect.  They hit mid level on my stomach so they are super comfortable and not too tight, which I love and the leg's silhouette is very slim but again not too snug so the fit is 'just right.I know ya'll will just adore Old Navy's new and improved denim line, I was very impressed. It wont be long before I'm headed back for more styles, washes and colors!

I was so happy that I got to style this super chic denim shirt from Loft with one of my favorite spring trends stripes. This is my go-to spring trend because the pattern helps elongate the body and looks great when mix-and-matched with other patterns. It's simple and elegance can instantly create a classic Spring look with ease. Some of my other favorite trends for spring are metallics, florals and don't forget the color of the season cobalt blue.  Florals are great because they can be mixed with other floral patterns to create modern and eclectic looks.  Metallics are perfect because they add a little something special and unexpected to your outfit. I can't wait to try out the metallic trend by mixing my neutral pieces with different metals like silver, gold, copper and gunmetal.

PUT IT IN [NEUTRAL]

First things first, these shoes are heaven on my feet. Sol Sana designed these gorgeous sandals with comfort in mind.  Comfort is one of the key characteristics Gabrielle and I look for when shopping for shoes.  Due to Gabrielle's bad feet post surgery, and my rheumatoid arthritis we need to keep this in mind, it is essential that we wear supportive, comfortable and trendy heels.  Finding this type of shoe is like finding a four leaf clover [lol]. Most designers like Steve madden, Chinese laundry and Vince Camuto focus on the making the shoes on trend instead  of creating a comfortable foot bed with arch support.  So again these shoes hit the nail on the head, they are super chic and trendy but still give our feet the support they need.  I wanted to create a look that is feminine and easy for a fresh spring date night look. I chose a lightweight embroidered blouse, light distressed denim, neutral sandals and this beautiful 70's inspired saddlebag.  To accessorize the outfit I utilized delicate gold fixtures and fun embellishments.  This bracelet from Banana Republic was the perfect addition to my look, adding just the right amount of cultural flair! This outfit is very easy to put together since all the colors are neutral.  You'll be ready for your date looking easy breezy and beautiful from head to toe!

Amber and I live in denim all year round, it's the most versatile item in any women's wardrobe, not mentioning the easiest piece to throw on and go!
