Winter has arrived here in NY and its no joke how cold it is. My mom came up to visit with me here in Southampton for a week, which was lovely! In true mom fashion she spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing my things, when she made her way too my clothes, she kept saying how come you have so many of the same jacket? I just laughed because each one has it's purpose, dressy, casual, furry, warm, long, or short. Even if things appear alike I have a good reason to own each. It's funny how style works in that way. One tiny detail can serve for a whole different look. This Olive parka is a new comer to my wardrobe. I love the color palette and camouflage style design. It keeps me nice and cozy on these bitter days and adds a sense of casual cool to a basic look. Let's not ignore these kicks, complete with a shear ling ankle detail and worn in finish, their my new fave sneakers. I'm definitely a high top addict, I love the way they work with any type of denim. Currently these are under 100 so be sure to shop them below, they come in three different shades! My hair got longer with Irresistible Me

Happy hump-day everybody! Gabrielle and I are super excited because we are going to be reunited once again, she will be here the last week in November to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and I.  This means more #twinning photoshoot's, endless laughs and having my best friend by my side.  Being a twin is unlike anything else, experiencing the same thoughts, feelings and emotions as another person allows you to connect on the deepest level. It's very hard being away  her but I feel as though we have grown stronger and created a healthy relationship that is beneficial to us all. Space is always a good thing because it allows you to realize how much  another person means to you and eventually brings you closer together.  I'm not gonna lie there's been a few times that I feel our relationship has been borderline too close, it's very easy to get caught up in one another's lives so I feel that the move was one of the best decisions we both could have made.  

But enough about us, I know you're here for the fashion! Topping off the look with a dusty blue saddlebag and fun pom-pom charm.

Cooler temps are occurring in both Gabrielle and mine hometown's, obviously NY takes the cake for coolness but were both excited jacket weather has arrived. I have to say suede is one of my favorite looks to wear right now, so chic and cozy. Especially in this Royal Blue shade from Bernardo Outerwear's Fall collection. Their collection is filled with rich hues and cozy material's. The quality of their jackets is on point and the prices are super affordable! I've paired this suede with a classic lace cami that are all the rage right now, love the hint of sexiness it can bring to a simple pair of denim. Obvious shoe choice for us is a sleek sneak, Supergas are an repeat offender in both of our wardrobes, we find they can make it through about a year of wear before needing a new pair. Happy Independence Day! Gabrielle and I really wish we could celebrate the holiday weekend together, but our schedules are so different right now it's been hard to figure out a good weekend that we both are free. Gabrielle and I have spent the past couple of weeks trying to redefine our purpose for the blog. We have been busy watching webinars, searching for inspiration and redefining why we started the blog in the first place. We want The Twin Crowd to be a personal space where we can share our journey through this crazy thing we call life. When we started the blog we wanted to create a inspirational site for girls who shop on a budget, a place where you can find pieces that have both quality and style. Although this has not changed we want to refocus our blog on a more personal level.  A lot has changed since the beginning of the blog,  and we would love to share what we've learned over the past few years with others in hopes to inspire and motivate  Women to create healthy and stylish lives!
