My hair got longer with Irresistible Me

Happy hump-day everybody! Gabrielle and I are super excited because we are going to be reunited once again, she will be here the last week in November to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and I.  This means more #twinning photoshoot's, endless laughs and having my best friend by my side.  Being a twin is unlike anything else, experiencing the same thoughts, feelings and emotions as another person allows you to connect on the deepest level. It's very hard being away  her but I feel as though we have grown stronger and created a healthy relationship that is beneficial to us all. Space is always a good thing because it allows you to realize how much  another person means to you and eventually brings you closer together.  I'm not gonna lie there's been a few times that I feel our relationship has been borderline too close, it's very easy to get caught up in one another's lives so I feel that the move was one of the best decisions we both could have made.  

But enough about us, I know you're here for the fashion! Let's talk about this blouse shall we, unfortunately it is sold out but we have linked many similar versions that are all just as fabulous.  This top comes from one of our favorite online shops for fast fashion, Sammydress. This website is filled with the latest trends at very affordable prices. We love Sammydress not only because of the prices, but the quality of the clothing too. Everything I have ordered from here so far has fit me perfectly and made extremely well, the fabrics are very durable unlike some other fast fashion websites. You can trust that what you're looking at on the site is exactly what you're going to receive!  We paired the blouse with a chic wool blazer from J.Crew, distressed skinny denim and sleek black booties. Topping off the look with a dusty blue saddlebag and fun pom-pom charm.

Amber and I have spent our whole lives together up until the day I decided to move back to our hometown on Long Island and pursue my passion of going to aesthetics school in NYC. Between style and skin I've been lucky to be certain of two niches I fit into. Amber wanted to stay In Charlotte and fulfil her goals of studying fashion further. Yes, we were both extremely happy and supportive of the other, but underlying was the fear that we had never been apart. Looking back five years later I'm certain we both made the right choices. No, were not physically together but our passion for style and blogging has taught us so much bout the other and given us an outlet to share our thoughts on fashion and our growing relationship. Its taken a long time to become comfortable with the distance but as strong women we make it work and add positivity to the situation. Its amazing that we can grow into our own people and share something that only belongs to us. Happy Independence Day! Gabrielle and I really wish we could celebrate the holiday weekend together, but our schedules are so different right now it's been hard to figure out a good weekend that we both are free. Has anyone ever told you "You look beautiful" or have you ever worn something that made you feel beautiful. That is the exact feeling I felt when I put this outfit on. When these kind words are spoken you embrace the saying from the inside out. I recently attended a Charlotte fashion event at the Sheraton hotel in uptown Charlotte last month and received so many compliments and love for this look. Honestly it has to be one of my very favorites this year and I'm so excited to finally share it with ya'll. We haved partnered with Banana Republic to share you this beautiful look. Gabrielle and I have spent the past couple of weeks trying to redefine our purpose for the blog. We have been busy watching webinars, searching for inspiration and redefining why we started the blog in the first place. We want The Twin Crowd to be a personal space where we can share our journey through this crazy thing we call life. When we started the blog we wanted to create a inspirational site for girls who shop on a budget, a place where you can find pieces that have both quality and style. Although this has not changed we want to refocus our blog on a more personal level.  A lot has changed since the beginning of the blog,  and we would love to share what we've learned over the past few years with others in hopes to inspire and motivate  Women to create healthy and stylish lives!

We are super excited to share bits and pieces with y'all over the next couple months of an upcoming blog transformation we currently have underway.  So please stay tuned and get excited because you don't want to miss this!

 

PUT IT IN [NEUTRAL]

First things first, these shoes are heaven on my feet. Sol Sana designed these gorgeous sandals with comfort in mind.  Comfort is one of the key characteristics Gabrielle and I look for when shopping for shoes.  Due to Gabrielle's bad feet post surgery, and my rheumatoid arthritis we need to keep this in mind, it is essential that we wear supportive, comfortable and trendy heels.  Finding this type of shoe is like finding a four leaf clover [lol]. Most designers like Steve madden, Chinese laundry and Vince Camuto focus on the making the shoes on trend instead  of creating a comfortable foot bed with arch support.  So again these shoes hit the nail on the head, they are super chic and trendy but still give our feet the support they need.  I wanted to create a look that is feminine and easy for a fresh spring date night look. I chose a lightweight embroidered blouse, light distressed denim, neutral sandals and this beautiful 70's inspired saddlebag.  To accessorize the outfit I utilized delicate gold fixtures and fun embellishments.  This bracelet from Banana Republic was the perfect addition to my look, adding just the right amount of cultural flair! This outfit is very easy to put together since all the colors are neutral.  You'll be ready for your date looking easy breezy and beautiful from head to toe!
