Today's post is all  about effortless fall style, we constantly try an find that one outfit that represents us to a tee, this is mine. I absolutely love to feel comfortable but look chic. I am one to use color but in a muted neutral palette. My fall style is all about plaid, Its such a go to for me because of its perfect pattern and balance of colors. When paired with black skinny's and booties it gives the outfit a much more streamlined silhouette. Sometimes flannels and plaid patterns can create a country vibe so its always best to balance out the look with dark colors and plush fabrics.

Happy Monday, hope all you lovely readers had a wonderful weekend! Here on the blog we've been busy putting together some stylish posts for the week ahead. Today's post is a bit mod and we actually love this look, first off its super easy to put together. Secondly, it contains a  subtle sexiness that we adore. This date night look can be made by three simple pieces, a pair of knee high boots, a black dress {or black top & skirt } and a fitted plaid peacoat {or really any peacoat will do } Plus right now old navy is having a huge 50 % off sale where we found this gem for only $25.00, really you cant beat that deal. The quality of the jacket is amazing and the fit it superb. Defiantly a must have for us college girls. This post is a perfect example of how you really don't have to sacrifice quality when it comes to shopping with on a budget.

Instead of my usual favorite Black, I decided a little white dress would be a bright change! I'm not one who loves color, I try to wear it and force myself to buy clothes on the more colorful end, but they end up sitting in my closet with the tags never coming off. Instead of buying items I wont wear, I've been buying more clothes in the colors i live in just with cool details whether its a different fabric, drop-waist, or embroidery it adds another element that I can feel comfortable in. I love this dress because of its perfect fit and the thickness of the fabric. Sometimes whites are hard to wear because of their tendency to be see through, it's good to look for a fabric with some weight to it. Summer is slowly coming to an end so I've been going with whites more often (we are looking forward to fall though). I've been living in these Nike's, they seem to work with everything: jeans, minis, leather, shorts, dresses. Sometimes it feels good to get rid of the heels! Hope everyone has a lovely Thursday!

Today's outfit post is all about suiting up, or in this case dressing up your casual attire. Pairing a tuxedo inspired vest  over a chic white tank and playful mini creates an easy outfit. We are always on the look out for a good sale and unique designers, so when we came across the upcoming flash sale site 9th&elm we were totally into there concept. Offering products from handmade and independent designers was an easy way to get our attention! Amber and I searched through the site over a face time call, I knew by Amber's face that she she found something she wanted, it was these bold teardrop earrings from DTLA. They offered them in so many cool color combos. and I knew these were her fav! Love the site so happy we found it, definitely go check it out!

The Summer wedding season is in full swing, and a good jumpsuit is my first choice! Instead of a LBD, I'm obsessed with the LBJ! Jumpsuits are super easy, they range from laid back to a more elegant silhouette. I've had my eye on these platform sandals for awhile, with my luck they were on major sale when i went to purchase (now there even cheaper)! There comfortable and a perfect opt out from 5 inch heels. I cant get enough of this gorgeous weather, hopefully it will stick around for the holiday weekend! We are now back to our normal posting schedule and I am in love with this look! A light summer scarf can completely change up a look giving an instant laid back summer vibe. I loved these shorts I scooped up from gap yesterday, (huge sale going on)! Originally  the bottoms of the shorts were rolled up and stitched, which was a bit long on me so I decided to give them a raw edge myself! I'm in love with the look of these block heeled sandals, I picked them up from TJmaxx, I provided an extremely similar pair available at Macy's.
