Happy Monday, hope all you lovely readers had a wonderful weekend! Here on the blog we've been busy putting together some stylish posts for the week ahead. Today's post is a bit mod and we actually love this look, first off its super easy to put together. Secondly, it contains a  subtle sexiness that we adore. This date night look can be made by three simple pieces, a pair of knee high boots, a black dress {or black top & skirt } and a fitted plaid peacoat {or really any peacoat will do } Plus right now old navy is having a huge 50 % off sale where we found this gem for only $25.00, really you cant beat that deal. The quality of the jacket is amazing and the fit it superb. Defiantly a must have for us college girls. This post is a perfect example of how you really don't have to sacrifice quality when it comes to shopping with on a budget.

A leather mini is a closet must for this spring/ summer season! This weather has been driving me crazy! Sometimes I like to go down to this pavilion in Southampton Shores to relax and enjoy the view of the sun shining on the water, just so I am reminded that Summer is on it's way. A good graphic tee/ tank can always add a playful vibe to any outfit whether its a leather mini or boyfriend jeans. I love this one from Victoria's Secret because its a muscle tank, so it works perfectly with any little jacket. These slip-ons are practical and stylish all in one! Floral Patterns are that one trend that keeps resurfacing season after season in different ways. This Spring its all about floral prints on lightweight jackets, some use dainty ditsy floral's while others have over sized tropical patterns. Either way this is a fresh take on the ever changing trend. We also are showing you which jackets are our favorites this season. I choose this beautiful floral moto jacket while Gabrielle picked this light floral bomber. As you can see two of the four jackets are from Gap. Gap has really changed there style game with the addition of their new creative director, they are experimenting with prints and patterns that really push the envelope when it comes to their style esthetic. We love every minute of it, not only are they on point this season but the fit and silhouettes are still classic and long lasting. This is such a perfect example of trendy work wear, you don't need to let the office bring your personal style down. Trying to dress for the workplace can be looked at two different ways, one you can see it as something you have to do, or two you can see it as a challenge. Letting your personality show through different textures, fabrics and colors allows us to let our personal style shine through. Amber is wearing very simple silhouette's that would be a great for an office environment. Instead of just wearing oxfords she decided that a metallic finish would be a cooler touch. Also she layered her trouser's and silk blouse with a color blocked trench which gives the outfit a more relaxed feel and will be a perfect for after hours drinks. Today we are both so excited to share our first collaboration with our readers. OrYANY is an amazing company that creates unique and beautiful bags for the everyday woman! You can find their designs at retailers such as: Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, and ShopBop.

They have asked us to each showcase one of their bags from the spring collection! Amber picked the Jasmine bag in Indigo Multi, this color stands out and compliments the classic stripes in her shirt. The mix of the bold indigo with  the neutral details is fabulous!  Classic stripes and a leather mini is always a great combo. Her gold statement earrings are a perfect compliment to the indigo hue of the bag. The unique structure of the bag works well with Amber's preppy chic look.
