The great thing about floral patterns is that they take you through all the seasons! As long as the colors are appropriate you can always pull off florals. Cropped sweaters come in very handy when wearing a midi mini, they hit you at the waist where the skirt begins ( it's a match made in heaven). The boldness of the minis pattern is mellowed   out by the neutral shades in the rest of the outfit.
