SIMPLE & SWEET

On Amber: Jacket: Piperlime; Oxfords: Gap; Dress: Victoria's Secret; Clutch; Marc Jacobs

Amber is keeping it simple and chic in this crisp white dropwaist dress (perfect for the spring and summer). The white is very clean and bright, so this lightweight denim jacket is the perfect compliment. This denim jacket has a studded collar and its motorcycle style gives the look a great edge. Metallic details brought by the clutch and oxfords are a great way to bring shine to this chic spring style. You can be creative when it comes to a bold lip, Amber is wearing a red orange shade that stands out against the white of the dress. Hope you enjoy today's post! Let us know what your go-to style will be this spring?

WINTER NEUTRALS

On Gabrielle: Jacket: TJmaxx; Clutch: Neiman Marcus; Sweater: Cynthia Rowley; Silk Tank: TJmaxx; Jeans: Eileen Fisher; Boots: Kork Ease; Watch: Larsson&jennings; Earings & Necklace: handmade

We are absolutely loving neutrals during winter! This look is simple and effortless.  When wearing neutrals in the winter, layers help to make these colors more appropriate. The layers add texture and warmth to the outfit. It was quite cold out hence the snow still on the ground, a heavier coat would have been more appropriate (but I love this one too much). How would you wear winter whites? Let us know what you think of our idea of winter neutrals!

FEELING BLUE

On Amber: Booties: Steve Madden; Trousers: Ann Taylor; Tee: TJ Maxx; Jacket: Zara; Clutch: Kohls

For this weeks outfit we kept it really simple and added this amazing statement coat from Zara. The jacket adds color, pattern and texture all in one. Keeping comfortable and stylish at the same time is very important to us; that's why we love all-in-one pieces like this jacket. The bright indigo hue really stands out against the neutral background! Be sure to comment and let us know what you think about this week's look!

LIFE STARTS AT MIDNIGHT

On Gabrielle: Tee: Victorias Secret; Pants: American Eagle; Sweater: Rhyme; Trench: ; Bag: Perlina; Beanie: Banana Republic; Necklace: Handmade (comment for details); Boots: BCBG via Macys

The remaining snow made the photo shoot fun this week! We wanted to showcase this patterned trench coat to show that adding a pattern to black can give the outfit life. The gold details in the coat and the watch are used to brighten up the cheetah pattern. The bold white graphics on the tee really stand out against all black! Be sure to comment and let us know what you think about this weeks look!

POWDER AND A PONCHO

On Gabrielle: Bag: Perlina; Striped Tee: Old navy; Poncho: Eileen Fisher; Jeans: Mother Denim; Boots: BCBG via Macy's; Watch: Larsson and Jennings; Bracelets: Alex and Ani; Hat: Thrifted

Since I have been back in New York Ive had to adjust my wardrobe to the colder months. I truly love the snow and i was so excited about our recent snow fall. I thought it would make the perfect back drop for the photos. I fell in love with this yummy cashmere poncho from Eileen fisher. The rich charcoal grey shade makes it the perfect accent piece for any outfit. Sometimes ponchos can be intimidating but if you use it as a layering piece it can be really stylish. This outfit is simple in color and silhouette, but the black and white makes it really chic. Every girl needs a simple striped tee, it can make any piece look classic. A hat is an amazing and easy accessory, this floppy wool hat gives a cool vibe to the outfit (and hides my hair from the snow)! These booties are really cute and very practical for the snow (because there pretty much rain boots). Hopefully everyone is staying warm through these winter months, be sure to comment and let us know what you think!

DENIM ON DENIM

On Amber: Jeans: Citizens of Humanity; Denim Shirt: Jcrew; Booties: Eileen Fisher; Watch: Skagen; Coat: Bannana Republic

We can never get enough denim! Today we wanted to show you a stylish but easy way to do double denim. The two different washes of the denim give the outfit contrast and interest. We wanted to  keep the outfit simple and chic. The mustard yellow clutch really catches your eye against the denim ( you can use any color!). The black suede booties and metallic jacket are amazing add on's. The great thing about an all denim outfit is you can add all your favorite accessories! Be sure to comment and share with us how you do denim on denim!

BETWEEN THE LINES

On Amber: Coat: Banana Republic; Turtleneck: Eileen Fisher; Skirt: Gap; Booties: Eileen Fisher

We are obsessed with this coat (how beautiful is it?). The metallic detail really gets your attention! The color block design gives the coat structure and really makes it pop. Did I mention the brilliant gold detailing it gives the coat a luxurious feel. Underneath we wanted to do simple chic. We paired a black silk turtleneck with a striped full mini skirt; and an amazing price point (available at www.gap.com). We loved the way the skirt gave the outfit volume. A great detail was this black leather wrap belt, it really brought the two pieces together. After we took time to look back at the photos, we both said this would be perfect for an interview! So keep that in mind, and be sure to comment and let us know what you think!

BURGUNDY BLUE'S

On Gabrielle: Jacket:Rock & Republic via Kohl's; Sweater: Gap; Silk Georgette Pant: Eileen Fisher; Sneakers: New Balance; Beanie: Eileen Fisher

This post is all about Burgundy, the color has really been on trend this fall season and it's unbelievably versatile. As an early birthday present Amber got this beautiful leather color-blocked bag via TJ Maxx, we wanted to create an entire outfit around it. We love the idea of chic sneakers, like we showed you in last weeks post. This outfit is a little different though, it's more relaxed and has an effortless vibe. The sweatshirt is another favorite of mine and Amber's, we picked it out the other day at GAP. They were having a huge sale and it's the perfect item for both cooler and warmer months. Plus it was only $19.99, be sure to check it out at www.gap.com! We hope you are inspired by the post and keep coming back to view more looks.

SNEAKER CHIC

On Gabrielle:Coat: H&M; Chambray Shirt: LC via Kohl's; Sweater: GAP; Denim: GAP; Sneakers New Balance; Bracelets: Alex & Ani; Watch: Larson & Jennings

We are constantly sacrificing comfort for looks and style, that's why we are so glad to see that sneakers are back on the runways. Not only are they comfortable but also they add a sense of coolness to your outfit. Some brands we love right now are New Balance, Nike and Superga; there are so many diverse styles and fits so everyone can find the perfect pair. In this post we wanted to show our readers how to incorporate sneakers into an everyday outfit. At first sneakers may seem intimidating especially if you only wear them for working out or running errands, surprisingly sneakers can be very chic. They can make any look you put on seem effortless. For our outfit we wanted to use complementary colors. Since the sneakers are burgundy we wanted to use clothing that is navy blue and mustard yellow. The shape of the sneaker is also important; this style of sneaker is very sporty and sleek so we chose to pair it with white denim, which also contains these attributes. While incorporating something different into your everyday look may seem like a challenge, the truth is you’ll be so happy you decided to do it. Sneakers are an easy way to create a chic outfit without any effort at all. Be sure to try this look out and let us know how it goes! We’d love to hear from you!
